Fabiola E. Cruz Declared Innocent
Kansas resident Fabiola E. Cruz serves as a birth certificate
registrar for the Overland Park Regional Medical Center. She attended
the Wright Business School, where she studied professional
administrative secretary information management. In 1999, she launched
her career as a court clerk for the City of Roeland Park, Kansas. After
serving three years there, Fabiola E. Cruz became the lead court clerk
for the City of Merriam.
Although Ms. Cruz pointed out errors in
the city's record-keeping system, her warning went unheeded. After eight
years with the City of Merriam, she left this position, and in 2011,
found herself facing charges for the supposed embezzlement of funds. It
took four years before the courts dropped the charges. With her name
cleared, Fabiola E. Cruz decided to pursue graduate studies with the aim
of becoming an attorney.
In her free time, Ms. Cruz volunteers
at her church to offer tutoring services to children in first grade
through high school. She is also the club secretary for Latinos United
Now and Always (LUNA). We always strive for the best.
